A Post about Nothing

We've been working really hard on the house. I have no life. But the sky is still beautiful. I was at the drywall place today and happened to look up. I'm really grateful for the little things I happen to see from time to time.

After Beirut and hearing about Haiti, I've got a whole new thought on that word. Life. The pictures you post make mine a little brighter.

Cyndy. I love how the background behind the tree is all blue, and there is a distinct line separating the blue and the gray. Nice find, and great picture!

I'm imagining that while you're taking this picture, Doug is saying, "Cyndy, can you help me with this... Cyndy? Cyndy?"

Kristin - Thank you, I know what you mean. It's so easy to take life for granted, but we never should.

Mike - Fortunately the drywall place loads it for you, unlike Home Depot. And at home it's more like me saying "Don't hurt your back again doing it that way, show some common sense and let me help you!" Fortunately all of the back injuries have been temporary, so far. It's not over yet, so we still need to be careful.

Bozoette - I will, and the sky is my favorite thing about winter as long as there's some blue up there.

I came to your blog via Reya's blog (I'll always call it The Gold Puppy) and wandered around for an hour.

Your photos are wonderful, some funny and some so artistic and some just "photo album" shots. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Sad to see your home burned but nice to see your perfect new home with all your special touches. Sad to learn of Seymour losing his life, but made me sigh to know you found him and were able to give him in a special resting place.

Life is simply a collection of a lot of little things with an occasional big thing thrown in.

Teri - Thanks for stopping by, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. I'll swing by your place sometime soon!

Barbara - You are absolutely right, and often it's the big things that cause you to notice and appreciate the little things more.
