just another day....

We did not do anything even remotely related to the 4th of July today.  Instead we pulled a giant tree stump out of the ground and went to see a lovely movie called Bride Flight.  I usually tend to avoid movies with "bride" in the title, but this one looked interesting and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.  It's about four people from Holland who leave to start a new life in New Zealand after WWII.  It's a beautiful movie.  Go see it - it's playing at the Avalon and in Shirlington.
