Glenmont Skies

The Glenmont shopping center is probably one of the least attractive places in all of Montgomery County. But this evening it was looking pretty good.

There's nothing like a little sunset to help things look as good as they possibly can.

It's really not a good idea to stand under those wires. Those birds are always there, taking care of business.

Wow. Look at those skies. It doesn't seem to matter what lies beneath.

Thanks Kate and Kristin. There's always been something about the skies in that spot. Maybe it's just the contrast.

I was wondering if you were ever going to write again after skipping August and most of September! :)

I keep looking at the large Chautauqua coffee mug I brought for you and thinking we should make plans to get together.

It's funny how the sun is so equitable in casting its light on the good, the bad, and the ugly, making all look glorious if for just a few moments each day.

Barbara - The light is so wonderful at this time of year, especially in the late afternoon. We will get together soon! I'll email you.

Loving the birds. They crap on my car when I don't feed them.

These birds definitely get fed. That's probably why they hang out here so much.
