I finally finished cutting my grass. It was long and thick and took me a total of eleven hours spread over 3 days to get it all done. I always dread the annual spring growth spurt because it's so hard to keep up with it. I hate getting all dirty and it's annoying that it was necessary to do that three separate times this week. But the chance to "commune" with nature makes it somewhat more tolerable. It's nice to look up at the sky because there isn't any long grass to look at up there. And it's always nice to see Mr. Rabbit!

I picture you lying on your back in the newly cut grass looking up through the trees at the sky. A good reward for FINISHING the mowing.
That bunny really is bold or else you have a great telephoto lens.
Actually I was standing and looking skyward so that I wouldn't have to look at all of the grass that I needed to cut.
The rabbit was frozen with fright when I pulled up, so I quickly pulled out my camera. He went scampering off shortly after that.
I've cut the grass exactly once in my life. That's what I get for having a brother so close to my own age. It might have done me good.
Kristen - I always wanted to cut the grass when I was a kid but I wasn't allowed to because it wasn't "ladylike." I think I've more than made up for my childhood deprivation at this point.
I hated cutting the grass as a kid because I had to do it and we had a big yard. Now that I am an adult I like to cut the grass but hardly have any in my little city back yard. Great photo's. The sky is always beautiful but it is hard to frame it in a picture sometimes.
I mowed the my lawn too recently... however I'm kinda sheltered- I'm 25 and it was the first time I ever had to do it.
Garrett and Dmbosstone - I guess cutting the grass is/was in the cards for a lot of us. Somebody has to do it!
BUNNY! What a great photo!
