In order to keep my brain engaged during this very weird time of my life I took a jazz theory course last fall and now I'm taking jazz arranging. I'm not that skilled at it yet but I can figure a few things out. I adapted a big band arrangement of the Henry Mancini song "Too Little Time" for Doug to play as an encore for his concerto performance with the Fairfax Concert Band.
Doug's beautiful trombone playing has probably saved our marriage on numerous occasions. I'm a total sucker for his playing and I can't live without it. I hope you enjoy it too.
Here's a link to a post that has a short clip of him playing it at the concert.
