If you go searching there are some excellent picture posted of the halo on Sunday night.Cyndyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11787927933858782267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6906849261938947265.post-60925264572770889622009-12-01T07:06:09.625-05:002009-12-01T07:06:09.625-05:00I missed the halo around the moon Sunday night, bu...I missed the halo around the moon Sunday night, but it looked pretty cool Monday night when I got out of work. There was sparse cloud cover that seemed to be circling around a nearly full moon. It must have been some optical illusion or something because it seemed like the clouds were going one way over the top of the moon and the other way over the bottom of the moon. This morning was neat too - big full moon with a bit of redness to it. I tried taking a few pictures, but I haven't figured out how to get a good moon shot out of my camera yet. People in the know tell me the shots are over exposed. My camera does everything automatically, but I can manual override some settings. I experimented this morning, but nothing seemed to work.Bowie Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09656054601003840365noreply@blogger.com
